In the programming system of the CNC punch press, when selecting the tool, it is necessary to consider the tool type, size and other aspects. In terms of tool type, it is necessary to consider whether the selected tool conforms to the punching shape. For example, when performing single round hole punching or arc step punching, you cannot choose a rectangular tool or a square tool. When punching a single rectangular hole, you can only choose a rectangular tool or a square knife. The type of tool should be selected according to the shape and type of punching.
The choice of tool size should be consistent with the size of the punching. For example, when performing a single punch with a single round hole, the size of the selected tool should be equivalent to the size of the round hole. During nibbling, the tool size should be smaller than the size of the round hole. During tool selection, the system adds a simple intelligent control function to help the user check whether the tool selection is correct. If the tool is not selected, or the tool type and parameter are selected incorrectly, the system will pop up a message box prompting the user to reselect the tool.

Hole punching methods usually have single punching and step punching. When processing large holes with a small mold, usually a small hole with overlapping punches is used to form a continuous trajectory, which envelops the contour of the desired shape to be processed, and then it is taken (during blanking) or discarded (during hole processing) from the sheet The material punched down to achieve the purpose of processing is a relatively simple and easy to implement method.
However, due to the difficulty of automatic discharge during hole processing, the presence of residual materials can easily cause equipment failure and affect work efficiency. This system adds a method of processing large holes with a small mold that does not leave residual materials on the basis of two punching methods of single punching and step punching, that is, the method of breaking in the middle. It has a good practical effect. The principle is from Start at the center of the hole and punch from the inside to the outside until the required hole is machined.
